History
The Magnolia plant was named after French botanist Pierre Magnol, Director of the Royal Botanic Garden of Montpellier. This flowering plant originated in the tropical and subtropical parts of Southern and Southeastern Asia. Its white flowers are used in perfumery for their mild, honey-vanilla fragrance. Its delicate scent has a relaxing effect on the mind and awakens the senses.
