History
The mint family is very large: there are many species, each with its own scent. Peppermint - Japanese, also known as Corn Mint, has a very fresh, menthol-like and spicy scent. It’s an ornamental perennial used in cooking as a condiment. Its leaves are used to season both salty and sweet dishes, salads, meats and soups. When diffused, its invigorating scent helps freshen the air.
