Indications
Inflammatory lesions of the oral mucosa, e.g., aphthae; concomitant therapy in cases of thrush.
Note: Generally, changes in the oral mucosa lasting more than one week, whether painless or painful, or swallowing disorders and/or swellings of all kinds necessitate a differential diagnosis by the physician.
Mode of action
With different action focus, they influence lesions of the mucous membrane in this area.
Acidum nitricum: Inflammatory signs on the mucous membranes, especially in the area of the mouth; salivation that stings and causes soreness, tendency to bleed, stinging pains.
Arum triphyllum: Irritation of the mucous membranes in oral cavity, sensations of soreness and burning; chapped lips.
Borax: Inflammatory irritation of the mucous membranes, especially in the area of the mouth, aphthae, white coating, sensation of heat in the mouth, bitter taste, increased salivation.
Remedies to be considered
Fungal infections: BIO 82
Bacterial infections: BIO 87, BC-18, BC-22
Inflammation of mucosa: R1 or S4
Mouthwash: R94 Cicatin diluted 1:10 parts water
Ingredients
Acidum nitricum D12 3.33 g, Arum triphyllum D4 3.33 g, Borax D6 3.33 g.
Non-medicinal ingredients: ethanol, purified water.
Dosage
Adults and children 12 years and older, acute cases: 5-10 drops daily up to a maximum of 12 times daily; in chronic cases 5-10 drops 3 times daily in a little water or undiluted, or as directed by a health care practitioner.
