INGREDIENTS Non-Medicinal Ingredients: Benzalkonium Chloride, Edetate Disodium, Purified Water. SUGGESTED USE Store at room temperature, 15-30°C. Directions for use: Child may be placed on left side, knees drawn up, or may lie face down if that seems more comfortable. A young child can lie on his/her back; the buttocks should be raised by lifting the legs. For Rectal use only. Dosage: Children (two years and older): 60 ml or as directed by a doctor. Administering enema: Enema does not require warming; may be used at room temperature. Remove protective cap from pre-lubricated rectal tube before using. Spread the buttocks, insert tube gently pointing it in the direction of the navel. Slowly squeeze bottle to empty contents into rectum. (An extra amount of solution is provided to allow for the quantity normally remaining in bottle after squeezing.) The tube is then withdrawn and the buttocks held together until the child appears ready to have a bowel movement; usually within 2 to 5 minutes. Protective shield prevents contamination.
