DESCRIPTION
ECHINACEA (Echinacea purpurea) – Family: Asteraceae
We know that it stimulate the immune system defense mechanisms during bacterial or viral infections such as during a cold/flu, or strep throat. It quickly soothes sore throats. Its anti-inflammatory effects reduce nasal congestion. This herb also has an antibiotic and sudorific (increasing sweat) actions.
MEADOWSWEET (Filipendula ulmaria) – Family: Rosaceae
Traditionally has been used to treat joint and rheumatic muscle and joint pains, headache, fever and colds.
ELECAMPANE (Inula helenium) – Family: Asteraceae
Inula helenium is one of the best antiseptic plants. The alantolactone that it contains has anti-inflammatory action. It reduces mucous and stimulates the immune system. As an expectorant, it facilitates the expulsion of bronchial mucous. For a long time it has been used to treat influenza and even tuberculosis.
BLACK ELDER (Sambucus nigra) – Family: Caprifoliaceae
The black elder flowers are excellent for relieving the symptoms of colds, flu and mild fevers. It relieves symptoms as it fights infection. Sambucus nigra is used in chronic catarrhal problems affecting the sinuses, and for bronchitis, pleurisy or problems in the middle ear.

Mentha piperitaÕs cooling effect is known to lower fevers. Its acts as an antiseptic, bactericide, analgesic, tonic and pectoral (relieves chest congestion and cough) for symptoms of the flu.
MARSHMALLOW (Althaea officinalis) – Family: Malvaceae
Althaea officinalis is a very emollient plant rich in mucilage. This plant soothes irritated mucous membranes during dry cough, bronchitis, tracheitis associated with irritating secretions. It also calms asthma symptoms and decreases the profuse secretions of the bronchus.
ANGELICA (Angelica archangelica) – Family: Apiaceae
Traditionally used in herbal medicine as an expectorant to help relieve bronchial ailments, coughs and colds, to help relieve fever by inducing sweating (diaphoretic). It helps to expulse mucus, while soothing the bronchi in bronchitis and lung disease.
YARROW (Achillea millefolium) – Family: Asteraceae
Achillea millefolium has been use to lower fever and as a sudorific (to increase sweating). It also has antispasmodic, decongestant, and astringent properties.
THYME (Thymus vulgaris) – Family: Lamiaceae
Thyme is one of the most powerful antiseptic plants. It relieves the symptoms of colds, flu, coughs and upper respiratory congestion. Effective for spasmodic coughing (bronchospasm) associated with bronchitis, whooping cough, asthma, COPD and emphysema. This is an antiviral plant for the lungs. Helps liquefy mucus and clear the sinuses.
CATNIP (Nepeta cataria) – Family: Lamiaceae
Nepeta cataria increases sweating, eases pain and lowers a fever. It also has antiseptic, antispasmodic, expectorant and antihistaminic properties. It is also well known for the treatment of colds in children and adults.

DOSAGE:
