DESCRIPTION
A feeling of dryness is the most common symptom of dry eye, but some of the symptoms of dry eye are not as straightforward. For example, watery eyes can be a sign that your eyes aren’t producing enough tears and they are over-compensating to catch up, making them water.
Without treatment, chronic dry eye can lead to eye infection, scarring, or possibly impaired vision. If you experience one or more of the symptoms below, you may have dry eye. To find out more, see your eye care professional.
