Green onion are the large flakes of the dried bulb and leaves of Allium fistulosum, also called spring onion. It is free from artificial colouring, adulterants, and impurities. This product appears as fresh green flakes with white pieces and the flavour is similar to onion, but less dominant.
Use Green Onion as a seasoning for soups, stews, casseroles, or any other recipe that calls for fresh green onions.
If kept in a cool dry place, the shelf life of this product is estimated at one year without appreciable loss of flavour or functional characteristics.
