Description
Wheat flakes are rolled whole hard wheat kernels. Each kernel is composed of the endosperm, the bran, and the germ. Each part contains a different spectrum of nutrients, so eating the whole grain, even in flake form, gives you full nutritional and health benefits. Wheat flakes are high in fibre and an excellent source of iron, vitamins and minerals!
Directions
Add 1/3 cup cereal to 1 cup boiling water. Cook gently for 3-5 minutes. Add fruit, milk, or sweeten as desired.
Storage
Product should be stored at temperatures below 15˚C, and in a clean, dry place. Shelf life is approximately 6 months under correct storage conditions.
